Primus and PHS Laundryserv launch new 100kg washer

The new Primus FS100 is a freestanding, high spin washer with a 100kg capacity, and a number of features and eco-credentials that make it ideal for industrial laundries, medium to large size hotels, prisons and the health care sector
As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of commercial laundry equipment, and the UK’s leading distributor of Primus laundry equipment, PHS Laundryserv are pleased to announce that Primus have launched their new 100kg washer, the FS100 which further strengthens their position as one of the major players in heavy duty open pocket washer extractors.
With a stainless steel body and drum, the FS100 is a freestanding, high spin washer with a 100kg capacity making it ideal for larger commercial or industrial laundries, medium to large size hotels and prisons. The FS100 features Primus’ Graphitronic programmable interface system, which offers a whole host of user benefits including an almost limitless number of programmes plus full status visibility, so operators can see at a glance how long is left on a wash programme and what stage of the cycle it’s at. The Graphitronic system also includes a multi-lingual micro-processor so all features can display in a variety of languages, a valuable tool which in a modern multi-cultural society can help prevent operator error due to a lack of language understanding. A less technical feature, but one which still offers a big user advantage is the extra large door opening, which at over half a metre in diameter, makes loading and unloading 100kgs of washing a much easier task!
The FS100 also boasts a number of eco-credentials to ensure water and energy consumptions are kept to a minimum without compromising on the quality of the wash. Achieving a G factor of 350 in the final spin from its inverter controlled motor, the FS100 removes the maximum amount of water whilst using the minimum amount of energy. Less residual moisture helps to reduce drying time, so it also helps to decrease the energy consumption of your dryers. The washer also offers the option of a second drain valve, so final rinse water can be collected and used for the prewash of the next cycle, helping to reduce water consumption. The FS100 also offers a number of additional, optional features including
· Trace-tech software which provides an audit trail of wash temperatures and cycle lengths
· A forward-tilting device for easier unloading
· Optiload® weighing system to ensure the most efficient water and energy consumption
