Spin City choose PHS Laundryserv

When Mrs Koublis-Hakki spotted a gap in the launderette market in Palmers Green, London, she knew just what the area needed - a smart, up-market launderette, open early till late 7 days a week, offering a quality, laundry service. But to achieve her vision, she also knew there were going to be lots of major decisions to be made, the most important of which was to find a reputable, reliable supplier for the heart of the business - the laundry equipment.

After finding the perfect premises for 'Spin City', Mrs Koublis-Hakki set about finding the perfect laundry supplier for her business, and she didn’t have to look far. Her criteria was a laundry partner that could offer expert advice, a full installation and commissioning service, attractive equipment and a responsive back up service. Following recommendations from contacts in the business, she contacted PHS Laundryserv’s local consultant, Priti Ahya.

Mrs Koublis-Hakki said 'We wanted to make Spin City a unique launderette experience! Our vision was to create a shop that would
really stand out both in terms of its service and look, so finding the right laundry supplier was key. I can’t praise Priti and the Laundryserv team enough, as the service we received was excellent from start to finish.'

Spin City was to offer customers laundry services for all items from sports kits to duvets plus service washes and coin operated launderette washers and dryers. Therefore to make sure the premises were fully equipped and made the best use of space, Priti recommended that Laundryserv install three 7kg washers, two 10kg washers and two 18kg washers plus five 13kg dryers and a 24kg dryer.

Spin City opened its doors to customers with a launch party that certainly ensured it made its mark with locals, a steel band, lots of balloons and free coffee and pastries
all drew the crowds in. And when the premises were officially opened later
that day by David Burrowes MP, the first lucky customers to use the shiny new
equipment were all given free washes!
